Manicuring

At Tennessee Academy we offer a comfortable learning environment. We have top notch instructors ready to bring their knowledge to the nail table. Our Manicuring class requires 600 hours of training. We provide a full service salon area, in which you will be providing clients with services. This will allow you to learn how to interact with clients, learn about client needs, and client safety, hands on. Our curriculum is based on the theory material found in the highly respected Milady Standard Nail Technology Text Book. We also are closely associated with OPI, allowing us to utilize their expert Nail Tech Trainers. Our student kits come directly from OPI, one of the largest and well known nail product distributors. In working closely with OPI it has allowed us to earn the "OPI Preferred School" recognition on the OPI website. This status with OPI has allowed us the opportunity to give our students the chance to win OPI funded scholarships for $500.00 that they can apply to the Manicuring course. We are proud to say that several of our past students have not only applied for the OPI scholarship, but have even been awarded the OPI Scholarship. This is in addition to a school scholarship that we also offer to our full time students. OPI products are used continually during the education process here at TAC, allowing our students to become comfortable with using them and retailing them.
